Hole 13 – Sheep Camp
Par 4 / 430 Yards

In the years before Graeagle Meadows Golf Course was built, a band of sheep (approximately 900) would graze here for about six weeks each summer. They were cared for 24 hours a day by Basque sheepherders from the Pyrenees Mountains of Spain whose camp was located left of the women’s tee (remnants can still be seen). The sheep would bed down near by and twice each day, in the morning and again in late afternoon, they were herded over every foot of these meadows feeding on the dry grass.

Pro Tip: Another good par four that often plays into the wind. Ideal drive will be center to right center. This will open up the second shot to large green guarded by two green side bunkers on the right side.
