Hole 8 – Indian Grave
Par 3 / 147 Yards

When the early planning and reconnaissance for Graeagle Meadows Gold Course was being done by Ellis Van Gorder, golf course architect, what appeared to be an old grave was discovered just left of the 8th fairway. After considerable research it was determined that this was indeed an Indian grave. Maidu Indians made their home in the Mohawk Valley and, during the summer months, Paiutes from the plains of Nevada visited the area.

Pro Tip: A medium length par three over a pond to a two tier elevated green. Back pin placement makes for a very tough par.
