Hole 5 – Conant’s Corner
Par 5 / 514 Yards
Adjacent to the men’s tee is the old Conant homesite where George Conant built a home for his family in the 1920’s. He was Graeagle’s only barber for over 30 years and his wife served as postmistress for much of that time. Their two sons, George Jr., and Bill grew up roaming the meadows and swamps that are now Graeagle Meadows Golf Course.
Pro Tip: The first par five of the day is a three shot hole. Aim the drive to the right of the fairway bunker. A good drive will leave a fairly easy second shot. The third shot to a slightly elevated green will require a soft shot to give a change at birdie.
